What is Bellingham Ultimate Spring League?
Whether you're a seasoned player or stepping onto the field for the first time, our co-ed spring league is the perfect opportunity to engage in a welcoming friendly community. Join us and experience the joy of playing Ultimate in a supportive environment that celebrates every level of skill. Bellingham Spring League is a mixed gendered 8 week hat league. It runs once a week on Thursdays.
Spring League is a “Cap-and-Fill” format this year with two divisions:
-“Mixed” division, which will host all the female-matching players (FMPs) and a limited number of all-matching players (MMPs). The number of players in the mixed division is subject to a hard cap, and a gender ratio on the field of 4:3, or 3:4.
Captains will draft individually registered players to make balanced teams. Games are played to 15 points. The gender ratio on the field for female (FMP) and male matching players (MMP) is 4:3 or 3:4. It is open to all ages 15 and up!

Subbing:
This year, we've revamped our approach to subbing—no drop-ins! If your playing time might be limited, secure a spot on our exclusive sublist. Captains will go to this list if their team needs a sub. To join, there's a separate registration, including the completion of a waiver. Subs will be required to pay a fee of $10 each time you sub.
Share your availability through our convenient Google Form.
A captain will reach out earlier on the week of play. You'll proceed to register via Playpass, sign the waiver, and complete the $10 fee payment. This year, we're strictly enforcing the fee to ensure all players, including subs, contribute and have their waivers signed. Your support is crucial for a successful season!
Registration pricing:
We recognize that everyone has a different income level and we want to make our programs accessible to everyone. We chose a tier system for people to choose which tier best fits them.
This sliding scale gives 3 points of entry. If everyone pays at tier 2 this will cover the costs of our program. If you can pay it forward, choose tier 1 which helps someone else to participate. Register at tier 3 if you need assistance.
$85: Tier 1
$75: Tier 2
$55: Tier 3
