Free Spring Basketball League run by Community Level Up Inc & sponsored by Wondr Nation. League Evaluations will take place March 15, 2026 from 3pm-4pm at The Williams School. Games will start March 15, 2026 . Last Game Day will be May 17, 2026.

Objective:

Create a safe, welcoming environment where players can learn the fundamentals of basketball while also playing in a team setting! Players on every team will receive equal development & playing time in practice & games. Zone defense will not be allowed which will allow players to focus more on skill development which is important at this stage! Our volunteers will be trained to focus on every student's development and well being rather than the wins and losses. We believe basketball is a sport that can teach life lessons so we also incorporate education, sportsmanship/ leadership, character development, violence prevention & conflict resolution into this program! Throughout the season students will have access to programs at Community Level Up Inc (New London CT) and they also will receive different enrichment at practice & games.

Cost:

This is a free program for anyone in our area. We designed this league to develop something where our youth & teens can play without the heavy costs of spring travel/aau basketball.

Uniforms:

Uniforms will be provided for all players.

There will be a maximum of 40 kids per league. Players will learn to run basic motion offense techniques and basic individual and team defensive skills. League designed to teach kids the game in a challenging stress free environment!

Players will play one game per weekend on Sunday between 2pm-4pm. Games will be 2pm-3pm and 3pm-4pm. Games will be played at The Williams School located at 182 Mohegan Ave, New London, CT. Game Schedule will be released March 2026. Starting March 10, 2026 the middle school girls will have workouts Monday’s 7pm-8:15pm @ The Williams School. Middle School students will have education and enrichment programs incorporated into their weekly activities. Evaluations will be Sunday March 15, 2026 from 3pm-4pm.
