Purpose, Plan, Process

Lesson 1 — Who You Are: Students learn the difference between image (what people see) and identity (who they really are) — and discover that their story, including the hard parts, isn’t something to hide. It’s the raw material their purpose is built from.

Lesson 2 — What Moves You: Purpose usually sits where frustration meets gift. Students map what genuinely upsets them against what makes them lose track of time — and start seeing their own natural strengths as clues, not accidents.

Lesson 3 — Your Why: The biggest question most people never sit down and ask. Students write an honest first draft of a personal purpose statement — a compass they can carry into everything that follows.

P.L.A.N. (Lessons 4-6)

Lesson 4 — Self-Worth & Resume: Confidence habits that compound daily, plus a real 6-section teen resume — turning everyday experience (even babysitting a sibling) into real, professional language.

Lesson 5 — Business Plan: Every student has already been an entrepreneur, whether they realize it or not. This lesson teaches the 7 elements of a real business plan and real break-even math, using a real example of a 16-year-old who turned $30 into a $200-300/month business.

Lesson 6 — Financial Literacy: Banking basics, the 50/30/20 budgeting rule, credit, and why investing even a small amount as a teenager can be worth hundreds of thousands more by retirement than starting a decade later.

The Process of Leadership (Lessons 7-8)

Lesson 7 — Understand & Commit / Gain Responsibility: Commitment isn’t a feeling — it’s what you do on the day you don’t feel like it. Students learn that responsibility isn’t handed out; it’s earned by adding value before anyone asks.

Lesson 8 — Gain Respect / Develop & Produce: Real respect is what people say about you when you’re not in the room. The series closes on the idea that the goal was never to get to the top alone — it’s to bring others up with you.

Why It Matters

Teenagers are bombarded daily with messages about who they should be. This program gives them the opposite — space to figure out who they actually are, put it into words, and build a real plan around it, before they’re ever asked to pick a career or a college major. Students leave with a written purpose statement, a real resume draft, a business plan sketch, and a leadership framework they can return to for the rest of their lives.
