Beginners & Scrimmers (Seniors 15+) is designed to give new players skills and game experience they need to get confident and ready to join the a league or players coming back that just want to test the water before they commit to playing again.
It's not just about running drills, it's about applying them and understanding how it works in a game- because the only way you learn how to play is by playing! Drills are just a warm up, and the session includes a game with 2x 15 minute halves.
The 12 week season will give you regular coaching and game time, and counts towards game experience so you can join the competitive divisions going forward, or participate in tournaments. There are some bye-weeks due to venue availability.
Mandatory protective equipment is required. We also ask that you bring a dark and a light colored shirt/jersey for games.

Easy League Beginners & Scrimmers Fees: $150 for 12 week season, payment on registration. (If you are unable to pay in full, please contact us for alternative options.)
We are affiliated with Skate Victoria in order to provide insurance for players. If you are not already registered, after signing up for Easy League you will be directed to the Skate Victoria Inline Hockey Registration Page. This one-off fee of $30 covers you for any sanctioned events during the calendar year (games, training, camps or tournaments).
Please note:
Junior Players (aged 14-18) need to have parental permission to play in any Senior (15+) Leagues. They must also be signed off by an Easy League senior coach, to ensure a safe and fair environment. These forms will be submitted to Skate Victoria for approval. Please contact us for the full Policy and Parental Permission Form.
