SWING FOR A CAUSE • HIT A HOME RUN • CHANGE A LIFE

By registering for and participating in the Home Runs for Hope Classic softball tournament (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms on behalf of myself, my team, and all participants I am registering.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that softball and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, equipment failure, weather conditions, and other hazards that may result in injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this Event.

1. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless the Event organizers, volunteers, field owners, sponsors, and the Home Runs for Hope Classic from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in this Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

1. Medical Authorization

In the event of injury, I authorize Event staff or emergency personnel to provide medical treatment deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

1. Team Responsibility

As the registering coach or representative, I confirm that all players on my roster have permission to participate and are covered by personal or team insurance. I agree to communicate all Event rules, safety expectations, and waiver terms to my team.

1. Media Release

I grant permission for the Event to use photos or videos of participants for promotional or charitable purposes.

1. Sportsmanship & Conduct

I agree that my team will follow all Event rules, respect officials, and maintain good sportsmanship. The Event reserves the right to remove any participant or team for unsafe or inappropriate behavior.

1. No Refund Policy

I understand that all entry fees are non‑refundable, including cancellations due to weather, scheduling, or team withdrawal.

1. Weather & Event Interruption

I understand that weather delays or cancellations may occur and that no refunds will be issued due to weather‑related interruptions.

1. Equipment Responsibility

I acknowledge that participants must provide their own equipment and that the Event is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

By completing registration, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to this waiver and release.
