Game Days are Sunday Tuesday Thursday at 8:45 and 9:30 pm EST.
Custom Team names (within reason and must be approved by the league, and must have IIHF front of it)
Teams will have Owner and GM AGM plus 14 active roster players to make 16 total (with 2 TCs per team or more depending on league size) with the ability to protect 3 players ( must provide SS of players accepting to be protected) (form will be up within time).
Discord Rules
1.1 No racial slurs or homophobic remarks towards another player( Friend or not).
1.1.1 Your first offence will be a week mute. The second offence will be a ban from the league.
1.2 Don't bring people's families into chirps. The first offence will be a warning. The second offence will be a week mute. 3rd offence will be season mute (as result of the 3rd offence being towards the end of the season (1 week after the halfway point of the season) you will be muted the rest of the current season plus the following season). if you still go after someone's family it will result in a forever mute.
1.2.1 while serving your mute if you go into the player's DM that will still count towards another offense. If you have a forever mute and do this you will be banned from the league.
1.3 No spamming ( multiple messages in a short period of time, tagging with the purpose of annoying another player, making spam messages with links to a website, etc.) will be seen as a case by case. The first offence will be a warning. The second offence will be a 1-week mute. 3rd offence will be a season mute.
1.3.1 while serving your mute if you go into the player's DM that will still count towards another offence. If you have a forever mute and do this you will be banned from the league.
1.4 No sharing other discords without permission from one of the league founders. 1st offense is a warning. The second offence will be a 1-week mute. 3rd offence will be a season mute.

1.5 Players must remain in the discord in order to play.
Gameplay Rules
2.1 No Raging the puck( skating around without moving the puck forward while not in your offensive zone). This will also include ragging the puck in the offensive zone (not trying to purposely score and just skating around) Will be viewed on a case by case.
2.1.1 1st offence will be a warning. 2nd offence will be a suspension for a week for the player(s) caught doing it. 3rd offence and so on will result in a week's suspension to the owner and a FF of the game.
2.2 No hugging the boards to waste time this is an addition to rule 2.1 and has the same penalties as said rule.
2.3 No quitting the game to play in another league game. (you signed up to play make sure you can play the whole game) will be viewed as a case by case.
2.3.1 1st offence will be a warning. 2nd offence will be a suspension for a week for the player caught doing it. 3rd offence will result in a season suspension. (As result of the 3rd offence being towards the end of the season (1 week after the halfway point of the season) you will be suspended the rest of the current season plus the following season).
2.4 Lag outs if they happen to finish the period take pics and treat the 1st period as the next and so on so forth.
2.4.1 When a lag out occurs the player that lagged out will take the penalty. If the goalie lagged out any player may take the penalty. Failure to take the pen in a timely fashion(3 min game time) will result in the period to be restarted and 2 pens will be taken by that team. Failure to take those 2 penalties in a timely fashion will result in a FF. pics are to be taken and the stats admin needs to be notified asap if there is a FF.
2.5 Just like in real hockey fighting is permitted. All goals by the CPU still count towards the final score.
2.6 No pulling your goalie if your up by alot of goals. As you do not see that in the real NHL. Trying to keep this as realistic as possible.
2.6.1 1st offense will be a warning. 2nd offense will be a week suspension of the player. 3rd offense will result in the player being suspended rest of season and the owner will get a 1 week suspension. (since this isnt as serious as the other rules if the 3rd offense happens with 20 games or less in the season that player will be suspended for the first 10 games of the following season.
2.7 No using players outside of your roster or TC roster caught doing so will result in an auto FF of the game(s).
Owners/GMs AGMs
3.1 Owners/GMs AGMs are responsible for getting their team together for game time.
3.1.1 There will be a 5/10 min grace period. If the team shows up after the first 5 min grace period a penalty must be taken. (Failure to take the pen in a timely fashion(3 min game time) will result in the period to be restarted and 2 pens will be taken by that team. Failure to take those 2 penalties in a timely fashion will result in a FF. pics are to be taken and the stats admin needs to be notified asap if there is a FF). If the team hasn't showed up in 10 min after the scheduled time it is a FF and the stats admin must be notified ASAP.
3.2 Owners/GMs AGMs are responsible for reaching out to their players after a draft or after acquiring them through a trade/wavier wire.
3.2.1 If you reached out and the player hasn't responded within 72 hours they will be looked at as quitting.
3.2.2 if the acquired player doesnt answer or refuses to go to the new team within the 72 hours of a trade it will be reversed and or the team will be compensated for the player.
3.3 Owners/GMs AGMs must notify discipline if a player quits the league or refuses to play.
3.3.1 Owners will be given auto assigns throughout the season we wont know if you need another player if you dont report players quitting.
3.4 Please go back and read rule 1.5. caught using a player not in the discord will be considered using an illegal player 1st offense is a warning, 2nd offense is a week suspension of Owner. 3rd offense and so on will be auto FFs for each game that player(s) have played while not in the discord from the moment it has been reported.
Trades
4.1 Trades will take place at 8pm est FRI to 8pm est SUN.
4.2 All trades must be compliant to roster sizes and salary (if we decide to do a salary).
4.2.1 Owners/GMs AGMs are responsible to know the worth of their own players.
4.2.2 Owners/GMs AGMs may not contact the new player or notify their player of a trade until it has been posted by the league.
4.3 Players that refuse to go to their new team will be suspended rest of the season and 10 games into the next season. See rule 3.2.2 for compensation rule.
Waiver Wire
5.1 You can only send players down Friday- 8pm monday.
5.1.1 Players that get sent down have to go through waivers they will pass waivers if they go unclaimed for 72 hours. These players will then become TC and can only play in an emergency.
5.2 Teams that are claiming a player must have a roster spot available or must be sending a player down in return.
5.3 Claims are done as a first come first serve ( if roster space allows it)
5.3.1 If you do not have an available spot on the roster we will move on to the next applicant.
5.4 Players have 72 hours to report to the team that claimed them or they will be deemed as quitting. See rule 4.3 for not reporting. Compensation rule does not apply to the waivers.
5.4.1 Teams must report players that havent answered or refuse to play to the discipline admin.
Player Tampering
6.1 Player tampering is not permitted.
6.1.1 Players may not message other team management to get them.
6.1.2 Team management may not message other players with the interest to get them or to tell them to demand a trade forcing the other teams hand.
6.2 SS proof must be taken in the event of player tampering/ suspicion of a player tamper.
6.2.1 In the event of suspicion we will look at it case by case.
6.3 Caught tampering will result in a 3 week suspension. 2nd offense will result in a removal of the management that did it for the rest of the season, and will not be allowed to be in management for the next 2 seasons.
