Aaron is a class of 2000 graduate of St. Elizabeth’s High School where he was a three sport athlete for the Vikings. In football he was the starting quarterback for his 1999 DIAA D2 runner up football team while receiving all catholic honors. In basketball, he was a 1000 point scorer as a four year varsity player while receiving all catholic honors. In baseball, he was a three-time First Team All-State outfielder as a four-year varsity starter. During his senior year he led the state in 5 offensive categories (Average, hits, runs scored, stolen bases, doubles). Aaron graduated from St. Elizabeth’s holding several individual records and he was inducted into their Athletics Hall Of Fame in 2021.

In college (2000-2002) Aaron was a two-year starter at Cecil Community College. While at Cecil he was named to the All Maryland Region Team both years he was there. He hit 22 homeruns in 2002 when he led his team to a school record of 50 wins. He was inducted into their Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024.

Aaron then transferred to Wilmington College/University (2002-2004). In 2003 Aaron was named Mid Atlantic Player of the Year and he received NAIA Rawlings First Team All American honors as his team fell one game short of the College World Series. That year he led his team in several offensive categories. He continued that success into his senior year completing a remarkable two seasons earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He was inducted into their Athletics Hall Of Fame in 2011.

From 2001-2010, Aaron played in the Delaware Semi Pro league. His first two seasons he played with C. Wallace winning the Rookie of the Year award during his first season. During his third season, C Wallace and Health South combined to form Local 74. During his 9 years, Aaron was the rookie of the Year, MVP of the All Star game, MVP of the league, and won 4 semi pro championships (3 with Local 74/1 with Canada Dry) with 9 all-star appearances. He was inducted in the Delaware Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2022 for his accomplishments as a player.

Through 2005-2009 Aaron began his coaching duties at St. Elizabeth High School as the JV and assistant Varsity coach. He was hired as the Head Varsity Coach at Delaware Military Academy in 2013. During his time at DMA (11 season), Aaron has had 1 player get selected in the MLB Draft, a 2 time Delaware player of the year, 1 Gatorade player of the year, over 30 players moved on to play Collegiate Baseball, 1 player who professionally played independent baseball, and he has led the way with earning the school’s first men’s DIAA State Championship in school history in 2021. He became the first African American Coach to win a baseball state title in Delaware history. He repeated that feat by winning another DIAA baseball State Championship in 2023. During the year of 2023, Aaron was the first baseball coach at every level to ever to win the Tubby Raymond Award as the State of Delaware’s coach of the year. Aaron has been named the Diamond State Athletic Conference coach of the year four times, resulting in him being selected to coach the Delaware Blue Gold Game each time. He continues to lead the Seahawks today with a coaching record of 143-57- and .715-win percentage entering his 11th season.

Aaron is an 18 year veteran on the Department of Wilmington Police and resides in Newark, DE with his wife Michelle and their three children Madison (23), Peyton (11), and Bryson (7).
