League Overview
The HitTrax League is designed to provide a fun, competitive environment for players of all skill levels using HitTrax technology. Players will participate in a 4 week season running every week with CO-ED on Mondays , WOMENS on Wednesdays and MENS on Fridays all starting at 6pm. Each team will play 2 games per week. The weekend following the 4th week, there will be a double elimination playoff tournament . 10 games guaranteed. Breaks down to $10 a game, plus players get a free 1 month Basic Membership to use the facility for practice during available business hours outside of league.

We will be giving out weekly MVP prizes and awards to winners of each league!

*General Rules

  1. Eligibility

    • All players must be registered members of the league and are required to sign a facility waiver.
    • Players must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to participate.
  2. Team Composition

    • Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 players and a maximum of 4 players.
    • If a team starts with 3 players, they must finish the game with 3 players.
    • Each team is allowed 1 pickup player to make a 4th player, if desired. Pickup player must be a registered member of any current Murray’s hittrax league.
    • If a team only has 2 players at game time, they may be required to forfeit at the commissioner’s discretion. Teams will get a 5-10 minute grace period.
  3. Registration

    • Players must register online or in person before the league deadline on January 1st 2025.
    • A registration fee may apply and must be paid before the first game.
    • Player Registration
    • All players are required to be registered on the HitTrax app or website and must have their skill level entered.
    • Players registered as D or lower, will select the Men/Women Lower Skill Level. Those registered as C or above will select Upper Skill Level. Murray’s will be basing skill levels on GHSA or Local classification.
  4. Game Format

    • Home & away teams are declared in advance through scheduling software. If your team is on the top of your scheduled game , then you are the home team.
    • Each game will last for 7 innings or 30 minutes, whichever comes first.
    • Batters will start with a 1-1 count.
    • HOME RUN RULE: MENS 3 and done. WOMENS 2 and done . CO-ED 2 and done
    • Games can end in a tie if no score is made after 1 extra inning.
  5. Scoring

    • Runs will be scored according to standard ASA/USA softball rules.
    • The HitTrax system will be tracking player performance, including batting averages, home runs, and other metrics.
  6. Equipment

    • Players must provide their own gloves and bats.
    • Only ASA/USA certified bats are permitted; USSSA bats are not allowed.
    • The league will use .52/300 core ASA softballs.
    • Women are allowed to use either 11” or 12” softballs, while men must use 12” softballs only.
  7. Conduct

    • Players are expected to maintain good sportsmanship at all times.
    • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or expulsion from the league.
    • Coaches and players must respect the decisions of game officials, HitTrax system, and league commissioner.
    • Playoffs
    • All teams in each league will participate in the playoffs.
    • Teams will be seeded based on regular-season standings.
    • Playoffs will take place THE WEEKEND FOLLOWING 4TH WEEK: MENS & WOMENS ON SATURDAY CO-ED ON SUNDAY SCHEDULE TBD.
    • Injuries
    • If a player is injured during a game, they must be evaluated by a designated league official.
    • Players are encouraged to have their own health insurance.
    • Murray’s is not responsible for any injuries that may occur.
    • Weather Delays
    • Games may be postponed due to inclement weather. Rescheduling will be determined by league officials.
  • HitTrax Specific Rules
  1. Data Tracking

    • HitTrax will be used to capture comprehensive player performance data, including balls, strikes, foul balls, base hits, home runs, etc.
    • In the event that a pitch or hit is not registered on HitTrax, the play will be deemed a redo at league officials' discretion.
  2. Batting Practice

    • Each player on each team will be provided a basic membership to use the facility throughout the 4-week season for practice, available only during SCHEDULED time slots. ( Please contact league commissioner with any questions regarding memberships or scheduling)

*Conclusion
By participating in the HitTrax League, players agree to abide by these rules. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including suspension or removal from the league. For any questions or clarifications, please contact the league commissioner.
