Physical Forms: Physical Forms must be completed and turned in prior to any player practicing. You can find physical forms for your health care provider on our homepage under FORMS. Please note, you must also complete the Cardiac Arrest and Concussion acknowledgement forms. Please review the fact sheets provided prior to signing the forms.

Gear Needed: All players will need football cleats(no metal spikes allowed), a mouth guard(buy several as they tend to get lost!), and their own water bottle.

*If you have trouble finding equipment, such as cleats, please reach out to Jessica (812) 734-5575 for assistance. We collect gently used equipment each year and typically can provide them free of charge!

Summer Camp is a separate registration you can find on our homepage. We encourage all players to join but it is not required to play. Camp will run from June 10-12 6-730pm.

We offer conditioning on Sundays at North Harrison Elementary Gym from 1230-2PM from April 14-June 9 FREE to all 3rd-6th grade players.

The season typically runs from July through October.

We will have 2 practices during the week in the evenings. We practice regardless of weather unless there is lightning and/or a heat index warning. We will try to move indoors during these times if we can find the gym space. We rarely cancel practices.

To kick off the season, we will play in a jamboree on a Saturday in August. The date is TBD at this time and we will notify everyone once it is set.

All games will be played on Sundays after the weekend of the jamboree kick off.

Players cannot be older than 10 years on or before August 1st to participate in this division. If older than 13, they must register for the 5th-6th grade division.

The ensure the safety of all players, there is a maximum weight limit of 130 lbs(without pads) in place for all offensive backs, ends and receivers to be eligible to advance the ball. Overweight players cannot line up in the backfield or be in motion to serve as a lead blocker.

North Harrison Youth Football League is a nonprofit organization lead by volunteers and parents with a unified goal teaching players the fundamentals of football in a fun and safe environment. We are very excited for the upcoming season and looking forward to getting back on the field!
