Rules

Team Size: Each team consists of two players.

Equipment: The game is played with two cornhole boards and eight corn-filled bags (four bags of one color for each team).

Scoring: A bag that goes through the hole earns three points, while a bag that lands and stays on the board earns one point. No points are awarded for bags that touch the ground or any other surface before landing on the board.

Pitching Alternation: Teams alternate pitching bags until all eight bags have been thrown. Players on opposite teams pitch from the same platform.

Pitching Distance: The pitching distance is 24 feet between the front edges of the boards.

Foul Throws: A foul throw occurs when a player's foot goes past the front of the board (a "foot fault") or when a player steps on the line while pitching. In the case of a foul throw, no points are awarded for that bag, and the bag is removed from the board.

Cancellation Scoring: Only one team can score in each round. The team with the higher score in a round earns the difference in points. For example, if Team A scores 5 points and Team B scores 3 points, Team A receives 2 points for that round.

Game Duration: Teams will play a total of 3 games. Each game cannot exceed 20 minutes. If neither team has reached 21 points at the end of 20 minutes, the team with the higher score at the 20 minute mark wins that game.
