Baseball Club

Teams will be selected following the conclusion of the tryouts.
Each team will be selected based upon the Central Iowa Scorpions Evaluations/Coaching staff selection.
Team practices will begin in January and run twice a week throughout the duration of the season.
All teams will participate in 5 events (or more at team/coach discretion).
Fees for the Central Iowa Scorpions will all be separate charges and will be the following:

WHAT TO EXPECT/BRING TO TRYOUTS
Tryouts will be ran as a "prostyle" showcase event. Things that will be accomplished in the tryout are position specific work, transition times, sprint times, pitching and a hitting evaluation. Each of these items will create a composite score from the data gathered comparative to our 15+ years of tryout and data collection. This will allow us to properly place each player at the appropriate level that they need to play to help promote positive development.

Make sure to bring all of your baseball equipment as everything will be needed: cleats, pants, glove, helmet, bat, batting gloves, catchers gear, etc
