Polly was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and Lynch Syndrome on March 3rd, 2021 – that same day she had a CT scan, blood work, and met her surgeon. On March 11th, 2021, she had surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and, infected lymph nodes, of which a 1/3 of her colon was removed.

Since then, she has suffered numerous other illnesses – anemic which lead to blood transfusions – her side effects from the chemo has led to neuropathy in her legs, hands, and feet, and Diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome for women leads to possible ovarian cancer – Polly had a full hysterectomy in December 2021. The treatments and diagnosis are exhausting to her health, her mental state, her family, and bank account.
