This 6v6 tournament will be played on Saturday, November 7th at Soccer City Aurora. All players and or parent/guardians of minors must sign their teams liability waiver / Roster and show proof of age prior to getting a wrist band to enter the field.
NOTE: The Division play times below are subject to change. There may be a chance that finals are scheduled to play on Sunday, November 8, 2026.
U10 and Middle School Division's will have games scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
U6 and U8 Division's will have games scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
High School Division's will have games scheduled between 12:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Adult Coed games will be scheduled between 4:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m.
Every team is guaranteed 3 games. Game are 25 minutes each (approximately two 12-minute halves with teams switching sides of the field at the mid-way point).
The Copa de Los Muertos will adopt the following format:
- The number of players on the field is six (6), five (5) field players and one (1) goalkeeper.
- Youth divisions (U6, U8 are coed optional). There is no minimum for female players on the field at any time.
- To ensure fair and equitable competition, participation in the U10, Middle School Girls, and High School Girls Division is limited to athletes who are biologically female.
- The Adult Coed Division’s have a minimum of 2 females required on the field at all times.
- The minimum number of players to start and finish a match is four (4)
Tournament Policy
- The maximum number of players a team can roster is twelve (12). Players must be at or under the designated age per the Division Title within 7 days of November 1, 2026. Exceptions can be made through the tournament coordinator to accommodate a maximum of two players who are within 6 months of the max age in a division, for example if a U10 team has one 11 year old player who turned 11 in the past 6 months they may be accommodated. No more than two roster accommodations will be allowed.
- Middle School Players must be between 11-13 years of age within 7 days of the date of play.
- High School players must be between the ages of 13 -17 years old within 7 days of the date of play.
- Any exception must be noted on the registration form and approved at the tournament check-in tent (not at the field) before the start of your first scheduled game.
- Each player may only play for one team per division. A younger player may play up a division for example an 8 year old may play in the U8 Division and the U10 Division.
- Players must participate in a minimum of 2 (two) games in pool play to be eligible for championship round play.
- All players must be present for check in and must have the tournament team bracelet on throughout the tournament.
- All players participating in the tournament must be listed on a team’s roster.
