Dawson Recreation Center Pickle ball League

Please join us for 6 weeks of fun pickle ball play. You must be a member of the Dawson Recreation Center to participate. Dawson Recreation Center membership is $25 per month. If you are not a member, you can join for April and May to participate. Please visit the front desk to sign up for membership. The full facility will be available for your use during the time you are a member.

We will start with a pickle ball 101 session to teach the basics on Thursday March 21st from 6-8 pm. This is not required, but suggested if you are new to pickle ball.

The season begins on Monday April 1st and ends on Thursday May 9th. For the first week we will practice on Monday and Thursday. Starting week 2 we will have practice games on Mondays and Round Robin tournament play on Thursdays. You will be paired with a different partner and different team each game. We will meet 6-8 pm on Mondays and Thursdays.

Practice nights you will play for 15 minutes per court and then we will swap teams and players. Tournament games will be first team to score 11 points or whichever team is ahead after 15 minutes of play.

This purpose of this league is to have fun, enjoy fellowship and cultivate a community that faithfully disciples people into the love of Jesus through the sport.
