The Denver Squid - Aquatics Club welcomes you to our third annual 2023 Inner Tube Games. Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival has two sports (Water Polo + Inner Tube Games) in which Denver Squid’s mission is to host a fun tournament to connect IGLA (International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics) players from across North America and to introduce local players to the water polo sport.

Local LGBT+ sports teams & sponsors will be asked individually to attend these games to duel it out like warriors in a friendly competition on inner tubes and more. All are welcome to participate & watch. We understand many have never played inner tube polo and that is completely okay. These games are meant for anyone at any skill level. Please see below for the tournament schedule and social events that will be happening during the weekend and at the tournament.

Each player on a team will play a total of 3 games during the Saturday event. During the middle of the games we will break for 45 minutes for a “Under the Sea” themed drag show. The champions of the inner tube games will be determined by number of wins and number of scores.

We will release more about the “rules of the game” a week before the event to everyone registered.
