The Denver Squid - Aquatics Club welcomes you to our annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Festival - Water Polo Tournament. The RMOF is a scramble-style tournament with the mission of social competition, having fun, and meeting new people. This event has two sports (Water Polo + Inner Tube Games) in which Denver Squid’s mission is to host a fun tournament to connect IGLA players from across North America and to introduce local players to the water polo sport. Those who register to play in the water polo tournament are NOT registered for the inner tube games.
Players register individually, and information about your self-reported skill level will be used to create teams that will be as evenly matched as possible. We will endeavor to place you with at least one member of the team that you belong to, or with an individual that you identify, if you indicate this on the registration form. The beauty of a scramble tournament is playing with new people from other places--we hope you enjoy the experience! Once placed on a team assigned: no trading to other teams!! :P
Each player will play a total of 5 games (3 on Saturday Sept 16th, 2 on Sunday Sept 17th)
The championship game ends around 3:10pm on Sunday, please plan flights out of Denver around 7pm on Sunday or the following day
The champions of the water polo tournament will receive free drinks at the Sunday Night “Pride of the Pearl” party.
