Singles Tournament Rules

-Each game will be up to 11 points and must win by 2
-Best out of 3 rounds
Serves:
-the serves will rotate every 2 points scored
-there are no ‘first serves’
-ball must not be hidden at all during the serve
-ball must be tossed straight up when serving
-ball must be at least 6 inches away vertically from the table
-ball can not be held over the table during the serve
-the first serve will be given to those who win the initial rally.
-if the ball grazes the net but makes it to the other side, the serve will be redone as many times as it takes.
Misc:
-if a ball hits the finger that is holding onto the paddle, it will be considered a legal return
-The ball hitting the edge of the table is legal
-the ball hitting the black of the table is illegal
-non paddle hands should not touch the table
