Tuesday Night League - Spring Session - Umstead Volleyball

Umstead Volleyball League is back for the Spring 2026 Tuesday Night Session!

The courts are rebuilt and we’re kicking off another season of co-ed 4-on-4 sand volleyball, competitive rallies, and sunset vibes at Umstead Park.

Whether you’re a returning team or brand new to the league, Tuesday nights are our Classic Core League — structured play, strong competition, and an awesome community.

📅 Key Dates:

Open Play Night (Free!): Tuesday, March 17
Come meet other players, shake off the rust, and get some reps in before the season starts. No pressure, no cost—just volleyball.

First Game Night: Tuesday, March 24

Regular Season: 7 weeks of match play from March 24 – May 5

Tournament Night: Tuesday, May 12
Top 8 teams compete in a single-elimination bracket, with a mini bracket for remaining teams.

Weather Buffer Week: May 19
(If we don’t need it for weather, it becomes a bonus open play night!)

🏐 League Format:

• Co-ed 4-on-4 beach volleyball
• 14 team slots available (first come, first served!)
• We aim to play 3 matches per night, daylight permitting
• 40-minute match blocks starting at 6:00 PM
• Weekly post-game hangouts to build community

📍 Location:

All games played at Umstead Park in Chapel Hill.

💸 Registration Details:

Team Fee: $275
Free Agent Fee: $75

All players must sign a waiver before their first game.
Teams are officially locked in once payment is received.

Spots are capped at 14 teams and typically fill quickly — don’t wait.
