Umstead Volleyball League is a co-ed 4-on-4 sand volleyball league based at Umstead Park in Chapel Hill.

We run three seasons per year — Spring, Summer, and Fall — with league play on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Each night operates as a separate league with its own standings and tournament.

Our goal is simple:
Competitive games. Strong community. Well-run nights on the sand.

What to Expect

• Co-ed 4v4 beach volleyball
• 3 matches per night (daylight permitting)
• 40-minute match blocks starting at 6:00 PM
• 14 team cap per night
• 7-week regular season + tournament
• Built-in weather buffer week
