Winter Training Sessions @ CRHS

Sessions take place on Sundays at Caesar Rodney High School Gym

Designed for 5th–12th grade girls, these winter training sessions focus on skill development, position training, and game readiness in a high-energy, supportive environment.

🏐 Setting Session

Develop strong fundamentals in hand positioning, footwork, and body control to deliver consistent, accurate sets. Players will build confidence, court awareness, and decision-making skills needed to lead the offense.

🏐 Attacking Session

Improve approach mechanics, arm swing, timing, and shot placement. This session helps athletes generate power, attack with purpose, and become confident offensive threats at any position.

🏐 Ball Control: Passing Session

Focus on platform technique, footwork, and passing consistency. Players will learn to handle serve receive and defensive touches under pressure to set up successful plays.

🏐 Defense Session: Blocking & Digging

Train essential defensive skills at the net and on the floor, including blocking form, reading hitters, reaction time, and digging technique in game-like scenarios.

🏐 Serving Session

Build confidence and control from the service line. Athletes will work on consistency, accuracy, and progression into advanced serves such as float, jump, and topspin.

🏐 Feb. 8 Offensive Skills Clinic (Attacking & Serving)

Elevate your offensive game in this focused clinic for 5th–12th grade girls. Athletes will refine attacking technique through footwork, arm swing, and shot selection, then shift to serving fundamentals and advanced serves including float, jump, and topspin. This clinic builds power, precision, and confidence to become a versatile offensive threat on the court.
