Jersey Shore Gridiron Flag Football League

Serving Ocean, Monmouth, Atlantic, Burlington Counties in New Jersey NJ. Jersey Shore and South Jersey. The Jersey Shore Gridiron Flag Football League is an organized and competitive ‘6 on 6’ league. The modified rules allow for creative offenses and pressure defenses without the hassle of an offensive line. Games are played at a high tempo, but organized play calls, route combinations, and strategy are keys to being successful. They also could be the difference between your team losing and possibly winning OVER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Because of the fast paced nature, teams of 9 to 11 players are recommended (max of 12). The rules are a mixture of the NFL (two-feet in bounds for a reception rule) and College (a player is down when his knee or elbow touches). Read over the revised rules in the ‘Rule Book’ photo album for explanations of the ‘Defensive Rusher’, first down rulings, and other ‘6 on 6’ game play modifications. The League is played on Saturday or Sunday mornings (Depending on the league you sign up for) and the games start every hour on the hour from 9am-3pm. The regular season is 8 weeks long and the playoffs will be 3 rounds. Equipment, Individual Statistics, and League Standings (Available in the photo albums on the website) will be provided. Team Registration Fee - $900 **50% down payments are accepted. Total is due by week 2 of the season. Champions receive $100 CASH for each team in the league, a trophy, and HALF OFF ENTRY for the following season Runner-ups get $300 OFF for the following season
