Waiver and Release of Liability

Event Organizer: La Pista ATX
Location: Private field in Austin, TX
Event Type: Community Pickup Soccer Game

By registering and participating in this event, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in a physical sport carries inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to sprains, collisions, dehydration, and environmental hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.
2. Release of Liability
I release and hold harmless La Pista ATX, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates, field owners, and associated parties from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, property damage, or loss sustained during or in connection with my participation.
3. Medical Responsibility
I certify that I am in good health and physically able to participate. I take full responsibility for any medical expenses incurred from participation.
4. Code of Conduct
I agree to abide by the rules of play established by La Pista ATX, including:
– No hard tackles or aggressive contact
– No shots from behind half-field
– No standing in the goal area
– Respect for teammates, opponents, and organizers
– No alcohol on the premises

Disruptive behavior or unsafe conduct may result in removal from the event without refund.
5. Media Consent
I grant permission to La Pista ATX to capture and use photos, videos, and statistics (e.g., MVPs, goals, assists) for promotional and community-building purposes, including use on social media platforms.
6. Waiver Validity
This waiver will remain valid for all La Pista ATX events I participate in unless revoked in writing.
