Sometime in the next couple of weeks from the date of this post I will teach a beginner archery lesson to my 2,000th student in just over year! So many of them group well by the time the hour is up, many hit bull’s eyes, and some shoot perfect ends! I learned early that most people can learn to shoot well if you keep it simple and fun. Systems like “The 9 Steps to the Ten Ring” and the “NTS Training System” are thorough and valuable, but I discovered too detailed for beginners. I have modified and distilled much of that valuable information down to the Core Four Archery Success Factors. I do not of course review each and every point of this with my beginner students; but I do cover the T-Shape, Grip, and Draw/Anchor/Release factors in sufficient detail.
