With so many athletes having the potential to go far but limited due to resources OCBA was created for that specific reason. In showcasing the talent in our county athletes will have a better chance at getting the exposure they deserve. Being a player in OCBA you must be 18-25 and enroll in one of the four colleges here in Okaloosa County which are NWF, UWF, OTC and TU. Once enrolled you must maintain a 2.5 grade point average in order to play. All contracts will be 3 years long with 2 unpaid years and 1 paid year. Any players wishing to further their education after 2 years will be given the opportunity to do so. The only way you can get paid the third year is by graduating which you’ll then be able to earn $25-$500 a game. Your pay will be based off how well you did your first 2 years on and off the court! This is a self development league meaning it’s totally up to you to work on your game. You’ll have trainers available for both weight room and gym workouts! The combine will be June 7th & 8th for $50 followed by a draft July 5th of 2025 with the original player fee being $150. You must be enrolled in school by July 19th, 2025! The season will run from October - March including playoffs with games being on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and mandatory practices on Monday, Wednesday and Friday! All players that make the league will be eligible for a Hoop Kinect and Next Level profile which will put you in front of college/overseas coaches/agents.
