WFFL (William Flag Football League)

This is the William Flag Football League a fun league to invite your friends and family in a 20 team league.

Times-
Each week there will be 10 Games played and each team will play their division opponents once a year. Each season is 10 games long. Males and Females are allowed to play ages 13+. Games are on Saturdays there will be 10 1:00pm games and 8 5:00pm games and 2 8:00pm games. And Beginning of the season there will be 1 scrimmage game which will be each team plays 10 plays before switching 4 times. No matter if they score a td or not. The game will be against a team that doesn’t play them in the regular season. All teams need to buy either a youth or official sized football. Every quarter is 7 minutes long and every team has 3 timeouts a half. Field will switch sides after the first half is finished. Halftime is 10 minutes. Overtime is 7 minutes and there will be no ties the game will end once a player scores a td however if the opposing team scores the other team will get one more chance. No kickoffs in stead there will be a throw off. Punts are also throw offs. The Qb can also run whenever

Rules-
Players
Each Game is 6 on 6 your team will have on offense 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WR, 1, CENTER, and on defense 1, RUSHER 3, Corners, 2, Flex players. You are allowed to move players on offense and defense where ever you want but you need to have their official positions or they can’t play. You can have at most 5 bench players. Team captains are the coach. If a team captain fails to put his roster in at 8:00pm on Friday their team will be unable to play.

Field-
Field size will be 50 yards long and 25 yards across.

Penalties-
There will be 3 refs on the field at a time.
Holding- If the center holds the rusher or if a DB holds the WR before the ball is thrown. 5 yards
Face Mask- If an opposing players hand touches the opposing players face. 5 yards
False Start- If any offensive player starts before the Center tosses the ball to the QB center snaps are side tosses. 5 yards
Delay of game- If the ball isn’t snapped after 20 seconds of the last plays end. 5 yards
Unsportsmanlike conduct- If trash talking goes to far to you will get a warning and another one will get you ejected from the game. Cuss words are an immediate ejection. Game suspension is given if a player either continues to violate rules or they cuss out a ref. This will grant a 3 game suspension.
Unnecessary Roughness- If a tackle is made or an unnecessary hard hit. 5 yards
Illegal Forwards pass- If the QB throws past the line of scrimmage.

Scoring- There are only touchdowns and 2 point conversions. No field goals or extra points. Their are however safeties.

Downs- 4 downs each and 10 yards for a new set of downs.

Playoffs-Top 2 teams in a division will make the playoffs.
Champion will be rewarded $100

Uniforms-
Mouth guards and pads are allowed and cleats aren’t required but they are recommended.
Cleats can be any color and jerseys need to be made before the season starts on June 22 2024

If a player falls down or flag is pulled they are down.
