What to expect for the 2024-2025 Season

We offer competitive teams for ages 6-18, and a show team for ages 4-6.

Competitive teams:
Practices for the 2024-2025 season will be two days a week (days to be determined) from 6-8pm. Specific day and location info will be communicated once teams are set. Please note that the days and times for practices are subject to change based upon indoor practice space availability. Our regular season runs from the end of August-April/May, we perform for the first time at our program showcase in January, and then compete once a month from February-April/May. In order to keep our registration fees as low as possible all competition entry fees (per athlete or per team) will need to be raised throughout the season via fundraising.

There may be a need for hold placement evaluations this season. Once registration closes we will have a better idea whether we will be splitting the teams strictly by age or if we will need to hold placements in order to assign athletes to teams based on skills.

While we take athletes of all skill levels, we do require athletes to be committed and dependable. Competitive cheer is a sport where every athlete on the team plays an important role, and when one athlete is absent it prevents their team mates from being able to practice certain aspects of the routine. For this reason attendance is crucial, and communication about absences and latenesses is required.

Show Team:
Our 3-6 year old Show Team practices one hour one night per week from the end of August-March. They will perform in our program showcase in January, and expo in two competitions, one in February and one in March. This team is a fun way to introduce younger athletes to the sport so they can learn what cheerleading is all about.
