QLBC Men’s Basketball Rules
Court 1 (closer to bathroom)

• Out of bounds – walls, 2nd line further towards the other court, change in color to overflow room Court 2 (further from bathroom)
• Out of bounds – walls all around (even the angled area), 2nd line further towards the other court

Games
• 25 minute games, continuous time – no stopping unless injury
• 3 players minimum to start the game
• Top-listed Team goes towards south
• Bottom-listed Team goes towards north
• Top-listed Team starts the game with possession
• 3 pointers – we do not have a 3 point line and thus no 3 or 2 pointers
• All made shots are worth 1 point
• Games end at 25 minutes and do not have to win by 2 points
• If the game is tied at the end of regulation, the bottom-listed gets the ball first and the 1st team to score 2 points, wins the game
• Substitution rules – every 5 total points, a pause in play will allow for substitution for both teams.
• Fouls – we do not have referees, so both teams are allowed to call fouls. If a conflict arises, the offense gets to make the final call. There is not a maximum number of fouls per player, but if a player continues to foul, then another player will replace him. If a foul happens on the last 10 seconds, the team that gets the call will get 10 seconds back on the clock and if the defense steals the ball, gets a rebound, or the clock runs out, the game is over.
