Player Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for, participating in, or attending any training session, match, tryout, tournament, clinic, or event organized by Real Park Slope Football Club (RPSFC), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms.

1. Assumption of Risk

Soccer is a physical sport that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, strains, sprains, fractures, concussions, and other serious injuries. By participating, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with your participation.

2. Medical Fitness

You confirm that you are physically able to participate in soccer activities. You agree to inform RPSFC of any medical conditions that could affect your ability to participate safely.

3. Emergency Medical Care

If an emergency occurs and you are unable to provide consent, you authorize Real Park Slope Football Club to seek emergency medical treatment on your behalf. You understand that you are responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Real Park Slope Football Club (RPSFC), its owners, coaches, volunteers, officials, sponsors, partners, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, losses, damages, or liabilities arising out of your participation, except where caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

5. Code of Conduct

All players are expected to:

• Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and spectators with respect.
• Follow all club rules, policies, and instructions.
• Display good sportsmanship at all times.
• Refrain from violence, harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or disruptive behavior.
• Respect club facilities and equipment.

Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may result in suspension or removal from club activities.

6. Photo & Video Consent

Unless you opt out in writing, you grant Real Park Slope Football Club permission to use photographs, videos, or recordings of you for promotional, marketing, livestream, social media, and website purposes without compensation.

7. Privacy

Any personal information collected during registration will be used for club administration, communication, scheduling, and emergency purposes. RPSFC will not sell your personal information.

8. Minors

Participants under 18 years of age must have this waiver reviewed and accepted by a parent or legal guardian before participation.

9. Electronic Agreement

By selecting the “I Agree” checkbox and submitting your registration, you acknowledge that:

• You have read and understood this waiver.
• You voluntarily accept its terms.
• Your electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, where permitted by applicable law.
