Player Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in RECESS Kickball League activities, including but not limited to games, warm-ups, practices, social gatherings, and related events, involves inherent risks of injury.

These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Slips, trips, and falls
• Collisions with players or fixed objects
• Being struck by a ball
• Muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or other bodily injuries
• Weather-related conditions
• Uneven playing surfaces

I knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in RECESS Kickball League activities, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless:

• RECESS Kickball League
• SO Much More LLC
• League organizers, directors, staff, volunteers, referees, sponsors
• Property owners and facility providers

from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or damages arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

3. Medical Authorization

I certify that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent safe participation.

In the event of injury or medical emergency, I authorize league officials to secure emergency medical treatment on my behalf.

I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for any medical costs incurred.

4. Code of Conduct Agreement

By signing below, I agree to:

• Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times
• Respect referees, league officials, staff, and fellow participants
• Refrain from physical altercations, threats, or abusive behavior
• Follow all league rules and park regulations

I understand that violations may result in immediate ejection, suspension, or permanent removal from the league without refund.

Any physical altercation or violent conduct will result in immediate removal from the league without refund.

RECESS Kickball League reserves the right to remove any participant at its sole discretion to maintain safety and league integrity.

5. Park Rules & Alcohol Policy

RECESS Kickball League operates on park property and is subject to all park rules and regulations.

Alcohol consumption is prohibited at league games and events where prohibited by park regulations.

All participants agree to:

• Follow all park rules at all times
• Not bring, possess, or consume alcohol where prohibited
• Comply immediately with instructions from park officials or league staff

Violations may result in:

• Immediate removal from the event
• Suspension or permanent removal from the league
• Forfeiture of registration fees
• Possible citation by park authorities

RECESS Kickball League and SO Much More LLC are not responsible for fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from a participant’s violation of park regulations.

A zero-tolerance policy applies to alcohol violations where prohibited by park rules.

6. Media Release & Promotional Use (Mandatory)

By participating in RECESS Kickball League activities, I acknowledge that photographs, video recordings, live streams, and other media may be captured during league events.

I grant RECESS Kickball League and SO Much More LLC the unrestricted, perpetual right to use, reproduce, publish, distribute, and display my name, likeness, image, and voice in any media format, including but not limited to:

• Social media platforms
• Website content
• Promotional materials
• Advertising campaigns
• League publications

This consent is granted without compensation.

Participation in the league constitutes full and unconditional agreement to this media release.

7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless RECESS Kickball League, SO Much More LLC, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from my participation or my violation of league or park rules.

8. Registration & Refund Policy

Registration fees are non-refundable except as determined solely by league administration.

Removal from the league due to misconduct, rule violations, fighting, or park rule violations does not qualify for a refund.

9. Acknowledgment & Signature

I certify that:

• I am at least 18 years of age.
• I have carefully read this waiver.
• I fully understand its contents.
• I am signing it voluntarily and without coercion.
