Horizon Baseball League

Welcome to the Horizon Baseball League — a competitive 10U & 12U weeknight youth baseball league hosted at Sprowls Horizon Sports Park, featuring a 10-game season + single-elimination playoffs. This league is designed for travel teams seeking high-quality fields, certified umpires, and a consistent weeknight schedule without weekend conflicts.

Season Structure

Spring Season: Mar 12 – May 14 (10 weeks)

Playoffs: May 21 & 28

Game Night: Thursdays (Baseball)

Game Slots: 5:30 PM & 7:45 PM (two field slots per night)

Format: 10 regular-season games + single-elimination playoff bracket (all teams qualify)

Divisions

10U Division (Ages 9–10)

12U Division (Ages 11–12)

Target roster size: 12 players per team

Pricing

Standard Team Fee: $1,950 per team per season

Early Registration : $1,600 per team
Fee includes:

Field rental & lighting

Certified umpires (2 for 12U, 1 for 10U)

Game balls

Staffed operations (site supervisor)

Digital schedules, standings, and playoff brackets

End-of-season awards

Teams supply their own uniforms and gear.
Optional: access to our uniform sponsor for discounted custom team packages.

Rules & Gameplay

All games follow USSSA Youth Baseball rules with local adjustments for safety and competitive fairness. Key standards include:

Pitch count and mandatory rest rules (USSSA/Cal Ripken guidelines)

USSSA-approved bats only

1h30 game time limit (ties allowed in regular season; extra innings in playoffs)

Team Requirements

Teams must provide:

Active liability/accident insurance (required before first game)

SafeSport-certified coaches

Completed background checks for all adult coaches/volunteers (annual)

During registration, coaches will verify compliance and upload documentation as needed.

Game-Day Experience

Sprowls Horizon Sports Park features turf baseball diamonds, LED lighting, and a family-friendly environment. All communication—including schedules, updates, rainouts, and standings—will be managed through Playpass.
