Science Olympiad Discord Server Waiver

I, the below named, acknowledge that if I wish to participate in TJCA Science Olympiad through the educational institution Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

I understand certain responsibilities are inherent in competing on the team, and I fully accept those responsibilities. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to following the TJCA honor code, obeying the Team Discord Server Rules, showing respect to all teammates and coaches for their time, dutifully studying for events, and attending meetings and competitions. I understand that there are other responsibilities entrusted to me as a TJ student and team member, and that I have a commitment to make the community the best and most inclusive community possible for current and future members in order to not tarnish the reputation of TJCA Science Olympiad.

I understand and agree that TJCA Science Olympiad does not provide recompense for lost time or detriments to my curricular studies, as TJCA Science Olympiad is an extracurricular and optional club.

I fully release and discharge all other TJCA Science Olympiad members from all liabilities in connection with my behavior in TJCA Science Olympiad.
