SANDUGO Basketball League
Rules/Regulations:
Games will be officiated by 2 Certified IHSA referees.
All players should wear jerseys with numbers (dark or light).
All games will be 20 minutes per half. Running time unless there is a timeout. Also, the clock stops in the LAST MINUTE of each half. Please make a note.
Four (4) total timeouts per game. (2) timeouts per half. Timeouts are on a use or lose it basis.
Home teams wear dark jerseys while Guest teams wear light jerseys per the scorebook.
All teams will qualify in the playoffs.
For Tiebreakers, quotient system if there are ties going to the team rankings for the playoffs (the total points scored in all regular season games applies or the determining factor).
For a player to qualify for the playoffs in the 8WK league, the baller needs to play a minimum of One (1) game.
OT is extra 2 minutes running time. All fouls carried over. If tie again after OT, sudden death meaning team who scored first will win the game.
Two (2) free throws if a shooting foul was committed. One on One free throws if team is on penalty (7 fouls or more per half). Two (2) free-throws if 10 or more fouls committed by a team per half.
Champion and MVP Trophy for the league Champ. Sportsmanship Trophy for the runner-up teams per division.
-Technical /Flagrant fouls committed by a player will result to Two (2) free throws plus ball possession.
-Two (2)Technical Fouls or Fragrant fouls committed by a player will result in ejection and a possible suspensions or ban depending on the severity of actions committed.
- Unsportsmanlike behaviors towards Table Officials, Referees, & fellow ballers will not be tolerated including gym ejection (individual and team) and lifetime ban @SANDUGO Basketball Leagues, Open Gyms, and Charity Tournaments @Schaumburg Sports Center (SSC) or Meineke Recreational Center. Team League Fee will be FORFEITED.
