CANBERRA LIGHTNING BEATS YEAR 6!

Canberra Lightning, the year 2 club, has beaten year 6! Here’s the match:

Hey guys, let’s see Canberra Lightning challenging Year 6, YEAR 6 HAS FINALLY ACCEPTED and here’s the bat flip… Canberra Lightning wins and elects to… BOWL! An unexpected decision by the captain Koby Wijewickrema (well, Ethan is the actual captain) and Slater opens the bowling… Wide! Terrible by Slater! In a big match! And year 6 don’t run and the score is 0 for 1. Next ball… No Ball! Again, in a big match! Seriously Slater! Is he playing for the other team? Hope not! Next ball, hopefully not an extra,… 4! Take him off! Take him off! A boundary! Crazy! He goes on with dot balls for the rest of the over. Here’s Koby, the captain opening the bowling, ooh, a single. Hope he keeps the bowling tight for the rest of the over… He does with another single! I still blame Sebastien for all the mankad opportunity’s he’s created though. He ends the over with a lot of singles and that’s 0 for 12. Confirmed by asking the batsmen (Sebastien). Next bowler… looks like Slater, No! Ethan! Ethan starts off with an off side leg spinner, a dot ball, and IS THAT OUT? MANKAD? AND THE UMPIRE IS SAYING NO! NOT OUT! CANBERRA LIGHTNING MISS THERE OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO BE LEADING! Is it going upstairs… no. He was still clearly in his crease. Let’s see a proper ball now, 4! It was a spinning bouncer! Crazy! At the end of over it was 0 for 22. Next bowler… Koby! First ball is a yorker, HIT BACK UP AT HIM AND IT IS CAUGHT AND BOWLED! OUT!!!!!!!!!! UMPIRE CONFIRMS OUT AND CANBERRA LIGHTNING IS LEADING! The rest of the over goes for 4 and, YEAR SIX RESIGNS! CANBERRA LIGHTNING WIN! FIRST WIN IN HISTORY SINCE 2022! And that is a beautiful win by Canberra Lightning!
