League Rules

Game Admin

All players in the league must be registered to a team before they play. This means captains are responsible for sending the name of a player to Chloe or Becky before hand and adding them to your team register.

You must ensure you have that players consent to be registered to your team before they play. If a player does not wish to be registered to you, they must be registered to another team before you can use them as a sub.

Players should arrive at least 5 minutes before their game start time.

All players should be bibbed up with no jewellery (or taped piercings that can't be removed), short nails (or gloves), ready to play at the start time.

Captains should do a coin toss to decide first centre and know which way each team is shooting before the game time.

A team must consist of a maximum of 2 substitute players on court at any given time. If a team is unable to play for any reason, match fees will be payable for both teams (unless an alternative can be found by yourselves as a substitute (see above regarding friendly).

Once entered into a season, teams are required to play until the end of that season. Early withdrawal will result in match fees still being due to the end of the season. If a team is no longer wishing to enter a new season, 2 weeks notice is required prior to the end of the current season.

Guesting
Each team must submit (and keep up to date) a list of registered players.

Teams may not have more than 2 substitute players otherwise the game will be considered a friendly at a 15-0 loss.

If you are subbing for another team, you will only be able to play C/WA/WD, regardless of your usual position.

Subs must only be used if your own team are not available/injured and not to gain a tactical advantage. If a team are found to be using sub players from other teams to gain a tactical advantage, the game will be considered an automatic loss for that team and a 15-0 win to the opposing team.

If a sub is used in the position of GS, GA, GD or GK the game will be considered a friendly.

If both teams have declared the game a friendly on their behalf, the game is scored as a 15-15 draw.

If a game is a friendly, both teams can play any position.

Players cannot move teams mid-season, unless prior approval from Love Netball Management in specific circumstances.
