Island Footie is a Soccer Program for All Ages!
We combine Soccer and Fun, while illustrating Soccer's Fundamental Rules to inspire an interest in health, fitness, and above all else Love of the Game!
We offer 2 sessions each day, Monday to Friday. Each session may host a maximum of 10 children.
You may choose:
- Session 1: 9:00am - 12:00pm (3 Hours)
- Session 2: 4:00pm - 6:00pm 2 Hours)
All sessions will be led by Turks and Caicos Islands Women's National Team Player, Olivia Graveley and will include, but are not limited to:
Session Break Down:
Warm Up - Introduction to the Game:
Players are familiarized with the different ways in which they can interact with the soccer ball, i.e. kick, move, instructions on how to play the game and how to incorporate their new-found skills in the game.
Practice: Learn Skills:
Players refine the skills learned in warm up and gain confidence with striking and passing the ball as well as engaging with fellow teammates. Players also learn to interact with each other, learning game rules through team bonding drills and technical exercises.
Execution: Mini Games:
Players incorporate all skills in small sided games and practice what they learned. Repetitions of these sessions will guarantee player development in technical and tactical skills.
