Tournament Format

What is King or Queen of the Beach? You register by yourself and you will play doubles throughout the day with and against the other solo registrations.

You will be playing 2v2 every game.

We will be playing short court.

For QoftB we will be lowering the nets to women's height.

Each pair will be assigned to a net of 4 others. After each pair has played through the pool (with and against the other 4), all pairs will be re-assigned a new net based on their performance. At this point, each net will have a new pool of 5 players. The top player from each pool will be crowned a champion of their division!

Final standings are determined by points (each players cumulative +/- and not by total wins and losses).

Skill level range from B to A.

There are NO referees provided for this tournament. We will be there to help clarify any rule questions and settle any discrepancies. This tournament is for people that can act like adults - if you can't obey and enforce your own calls, please do not waste your time on signing up for this tournament.

Registration is now open!
We can only take the first 10 players for each tournament.

Expect to play at least 8 games and the tournament should last about 3 - 4 hours.
