Due to the negotiations going on with CUPE and the school board. Should CUPE strike for Monday we may have to cancel volleyball. Will notify all teams by email if this happens.

Subject: Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) work-to-rule job action notice
To all permit holders for rental of facilities at Csc MonAvenir:
The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which represents Csc MonAvenir’s custodial staff, issued a work-to-rule job action notice yesterday.
If negotiations are terminated or no agreement is reached by then, CUPE members have announced that they will be on a work-to-rule job action starting Monday, September 30.
During a work-to-rule job action, CUPE members will be present at work and will continue to provide basic services.
However, please note that a possible work-to-rule job action might compromise access to the premises outside the school day. If this is the case and Csc MonAvenir is required to suspend school facility rental permits, you will be informed as soon as possible.

As per rule #5:
No children under the age of fourteen, with or without supervision, are allowed in the school. This is a rule set down by the league. There are no exceptions. (No pets are allowed). Should a team not adhere to this rule the grace period in rule #3 will be imposed until the child is removed from the school.
