Offering a 5-day soccer camp on Floresville, Texas to develop player skills, soccer decision-making, and provide a fun environment for youth in the community.
Older players (8 and up) will learn the concepts of triangulation, tiki-taka passing and attack, free-space positioning, team defense, and lateral movement. Trainers are volunteers from the local community. In general, a night at camp will consist of:
1 hour individual skills
1 hour partner/group skills
1 hour scrimmages and games (5v5)
Younger players (7 and below) will learn basic skills in addition to team play and combination attacks. In general, a night at camp will consist of:
30 min. hour individual skills
30 min. partner/group skills
30 min. scrimmages and games (3v3)
Players will receive a uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks) and a soccer ball. Players should wear uniforms and bring balls daily, unless otherwise directed. Players must bring a water bottle and wear shin guards.
Training will be held at Helton Park Soccer Fields. No concessions are available. Porta potties are available at the park. Camp participant capacity:
U8 - 12 athletes
U11 - 20 athletes
U14 - 20 athletes

The theme of the soccer camp is Catalonia, where Barcelona is located. Camp volunteers are not associated with Barcelona or Catalonia, nor are they associated nor represent any professional soccer team.
