Yuishinkan is a karate school of the Goju-ryu style. The school was created in 1953 by the Gōjū Ryū Master Tomoharu Kisaki. Who was a student of Chojun Miyagi, the founder of Goju-ryu. Yuishinkan means ​“Home of the True and Sincere Heart”.Our School in Houston TX was established October 1st 2007.

Goju-Ryu is one of the major schools or sub-styles of Karate. The actual founder of the Goju-Ryu Karate was Sensei Chojun Miyagi. Sensei Miyagi founded a Karate school in the 1920’s. He named his art “Goju Ryu” Karate, meaning “soft and hard”.

Kisaki Sensei 9th Degree, was a direct student of Sensei Yamaguchi and trained under the direction of Sensei Miyagi.Kisaki born in Osaka Japan. He was originally from an old Samurai family. His interest in karate was awakened very early and learned the art of combat with the founder of Goju Ryu, Miyagi Sensei, and their representatives for Japan G. Yamaguchi (known as "El Gato").Kisaki Sensei was in Japan a large karate personality. He was president of the Student Federation of Karate in Japan and remained as honorable professor of arts Budo.
