On Playpass, a registration activity is what you use to register players online with Playpass Registration. Activities can be a camp, class, club, event, league, pickup game, tournament or training.
First, create a registration activity by selecting a sport and the type of activity.
After creating a registration activity, you'll be on its main page. From their click Set up registration in the Registration section
Now, on the Set up registration page you'll be able to set prices, discounts, questions, waivers and more for online registration.
Here you can add Price options for your players to register.
Give each option a name and price. Optionally limit the quantity or end date.
To accept online payments, click the Connect with Stripe button. The setup takes only 1 minute. More information in our quick guide to Accepting payments online with Stripe
Create a coupon to offer discounts to your members during online registration for your activities.
Per coupon, you can set a discount, redemption code, expiration date, and redemption limit.
Coupons can be used any way you like. You can reward loyal members with a discount. Or add coupon codes to a marketing campaign to attract new members. Or give a discount discretely to those who can't afford to pay full price. It's up to you.
Questions are a really powerful way to get all the info you need from your players when they register
You can:
Gather answers as text or let players:
Some examples of questions you might ask are Team Name, Team Captain, Shirt Size, How Did You Hear About Us, Proof Of Residence, etc.
Also, just like with Signed Waivers, we encrypt the files your players upload and store them securely online.
All information you gather in questions is available in the table view on Dashboard > Registrations and when you Download registrations as a .csv file for Excel.
Create waivers to collect signatures and signed documents and then store them securely online.
Per registration activity, you can show all waivers that are published or select individual ones.
You can verify information and view your signed waivers from Dashboard > Waivers
Here you can limit the total availability of all price options. Useful if you have many price options and can only accept 20 players total, for example.
You can set a post-registration link, that players will be prompted to visit from their Registration receipt page. A good use of this is a Thank you page with Things you should know before the activity begins.
Lower on the Set up registration page, are two are that preview how it will look to your players.
Scroll down to see how prices will look and how your registration form will look to players.
Be sure to Publish your registration activity from the top of its main page. This lets the public view it and register online, plus it will now appear on your Homepage on Playpass.
From Dashboard > Registrations you can view everyone who registers and give a refund if necessary.
Just use the dropdown menu to Edit, Print, Cancel or Refund their registration.
Stripe will refund their processing fee when you refund a payment. We will too as long as you're refunding a payment that's less than 21 days old.
Note: on the Stripe dashboard you can also refund payments. But you shouldn't because refunds from there will not refund our registration fee.
You can choose to send an email to everyone who has registered online.
Just select your registration activity from Dashboard > Registrations and click on the red Email Players button.
After you click Email Players you'll see your activity's special email address.
When you send an email to this email address, it will go to all of your players who registered online.
Reports show you who started but never finished registration (ie. "abandoned" registration), so you can follow up. It's a really powerful tool for reaching out to anyone who was interested but for whatever reason didn't yet register.
They also show a timeline of registrations and a timeline with the amount of payments collected.
Find a link to Reports from any activity in Edit > Advanced > View reports. Or the new Reports link above the Registration section of your activity. Or click Reports below any activity listed in Dashboard > Registration > Activities.
